Phytophthora ramorum EU1 genome sequencing and assembly

dataset
posted on 2024-06-11, 06:42 authored by USDA ARS
Phytophthora ramorum is the causal agent of sudden oak death in West Coast forests and currently two clonal lineages, NA1 and EU1, cause epidemics in forests. We report two high-quality genomes of individuals belonging to the NA1 and EU1 clonal lineages respectively, using PacBio long-read sequencing. These high-quality genomes provide a valuable resource in understanding the genetics, evolution, and adaptation of these two colonial lineages. This project contains the Primary (principal) assembly for EU1 isolate PR-15-019.
