Patterns of ice cover for 31 lakes in the Northern Hemisphere

The dataset includes ice-free cover for 31 lakes that extend between 41 and 1146 years. The data was obtained from the National Snow and Ice Data Center. Connected with the ice-free cover data is the physical characteristics of lake obtained from HydroLAKES and mean winter air temperature obtained from CRU Climate Data Center.
