KML 2016 Population Transects

Size and Abundance of Cassiopea along two transects at the Keys Marine Laboratory in Layton, Florida, in December 2016. Transects were layed by stretching a measuring tape along the bottom, and placing a 1-m quadrat every 5 feet along the measuring tape. Each quadrat was photographed from above and jellyfish measured using ImageJ image analysis software.
