Current Practices of Hemodynamic Monitoring in High-Risk Surgical Patients: A

Nationwide Survey Among Malaysian Anaesthesiologists

Advanced hemodynamic monitoring has been recommended for use in high-risk

surgeries and high-risk patients undergoing surgery. Several studies have demonstrated that

perioperative hemodynamic optimisation can improve postoperative outcomes in high-risk

surgical patients. This study aims to assess the current practices of hemodynamic monitoring

in high-risk surgical patients among Malaysian anaesthesiologists.
