Associate Professor Karyn Galvin, The University of Melbourne, has modified the SSQ-P (described here: DOI: 10.1179/1754762812Y.0000000014) from the adult SSQ which was developed by William Noble and Stuart Gatehouse (https://doi.org/10.1080/14992020400050014 and https://doi.org/10.1080/14992020400050015). Assoc. Prof. Galvin has authorized Kerttu Huttunen and Anna Kiviniemi-Pulli to translate the questionnaire into Finnish.
Standard procedure of forward-backward translation has been conducted with translations made into the native language of the translations. Language revision agency was used in making the back translation. A three-member expert group has compared the original English version with the back translation.
