Production of correct relative clauses in Chinese students learning Spanish at the A2-B1 level:
Two groups of Chinese students at level A2-B1 of Spanish (Experimental Group and Control Group) took an exam on Spanish relative clauses formation.
A few months later, the Experimental Group (n=34) learned that construction with cognitve based pedagogic materials. The Control Group (n=40) studied relative clauses with communicative textbooks.
Two weeks later, both groups took the exact same test they took before. The results indicate that the EG significantly reduced fossilizable mistakes while forming any type of relative clauses in descriptive tasks in Spanish.
