Exome capture of ADEPT2 loblolly pine trees

dataset
posted on 2024-06-11, 05:27 authored by Texas A&M University
Loblolly pine, Pinus taeda L., is the most widely planted and commercially important tree species in the southeastern U.S. Exome capture was applied in a population of 375 trees using NimbleGen probes and then sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. We aim to identify the markers that are associated with the adaptive traits and can be used as molecular tools to screen for superior genotypes under climate change.
