The data was used to assess the potential non-target (native wildlife) impacts of the feral cat bait 'Eradicat', on Kangaroo Island. Feral cat baits were deployed in fron to camera traps and we examined the animals that ate them. The first sheet describe the animals that took baits as evident from the camera trap images. The second sheet describes if a bait as recorded as taken at each bait station each day (as some times the cameras didn't trigger and detect the species taking the bait).
The feral cat baits contained a chemical Rhodamine which once consumed is deposited in the whiskers and is visible under a UV microscope. The third sheet describes animals trapped at the sites two weeks after baiting, and if their whiskers had evidence of Rhodamine and therefore bait consumption. The fourth sheet contains the full trapping records including all captures and recaptures of individuals at the four sites.
