EVOLVE-HBV is a study of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, set up as a collaboration between the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) in South Africa, and the Francis Crick Institute/University College London in the UK. Our overall aim is to develop a detailed picture of HBV in the populations served by AHRI in order to inform better care provision founded on a strong clinical and laboratory evidence base.

This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides a framework agreed by EVOLVE-HBV study team and collaborators on activities including recruitment, sample collection, sample processing, testing and handling of results.

More information on the study can be found on our webpage here: https://www.ahri.org/evolve-hepatitis-b-study/
