Data from: Mammalian herbivory shapes intraspecific trait responses to warmer climate and nutrient enrichment

dataset
posted on 2020-09-29, 11:44 authored by Maria-Theresa Jessen, Elina Kaarlejärvi, Johan Olofsson, Anu Eskelinen

Data were collected in a full-factorial warming-fertilization-herbivore exclusion experiment located in NW Finnish Lapland, in Kilpisjärvi (69.055°N, 20.887°E) (for details see Kaarlejärvi et al. 2013, Funct Ecol.) during July/August 2018.

The file contains raw data of trait values (height, SLA, foliar C:N, leaf greenness) measured in the field/lab on eight tundra species (Anthoxantum odoratum, Bistorta vivipara, Ranunculus acris, Sibbaldia procumbens, Solidago virgaurea, Thalictrum alpinum, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Viola biflora). The file also contains (calculated) relative abundance data of all eight species based on measurements from a modified point-intercept method at the community level (for details see Jonasson 1988, Oikos).
