Seven octopuses (Octopus vulgaris) were tested in an episodic-like memory task. They first had to learn the replenishing rate (RR) of their preys, in less than 40 trials (first batch, three octopuses) or 80 trials (second batch, four octopuses). One individual (Teddy) suceeded in the task and was subsequently tested in an episodic-like memory task (ELM).
