We recorded extracellularly from HVC nucelus of birds chronically implanted with 16/32 site Si Probes, while they freely sang, simultaneously with their song (recorded through an Earthworks m-30 microphone).
The vocal behavior of the subjects were manually annotated using Praat linguistics software.

We present the neural recordings, the full microphone recordings, the timestamps of the onset and termination of each vocalization, and behavioral labels of each vocalization.

The data is formated to work with the BirdSongToolbox package (https://github.com/Darilbii/BirdSongToolbox)
