We reconstructed a continuously covered cropland distribution dataset in China spanning from 1900 to 2016 by assimilating multiple data sources. The time-series gridded data depicts the distribution and percentage of cultivated land each year (including summer idle/fallow). The reconstructed annual cropland percentage maps were at 5 km×5 km resolution covering the mainland China.

This is an updated version.
