Addressing her ongoing interest in the intersections of extremes in environment and scale, both digital and analogue, Neudecker has worked with particle physicists at CERN since 2015 to research the means by which new scientific knowledge is constructed and interpreted and how that shapes our understanding of nature and matter.

This item contains 4 images of exhibited works and an image of Soapworks.

This item documents the inclusion of Unusual But Natural Strategy l & 2 2020, as part of Centre Of Gravity, a new collaborative project Neudecker helped to realise, bringing together the region’s contemporary arts communities in a month-long exhibition at Soapworks in Bristol. Neudecker's 2 light box works, Unusual But Natural Strategy 1 & 2, emerged from a series of digital stills taken within the CLOUD (Cosmics Leaving Outdoor Droplets) scientific experiment, which investigates the atmospheric impact of cosmic rays.
