Character and costume designers have a lot in common; both professions concentrate on expressing the character's personality, background, age, and status through appearance. However, a costume designer's tactile knowledge of materials and clothing construction as well as the skills of character analysis and interpretation of human nature for character visuals can be beneficial for a game project.
