Zimbelman (2023) Waypoints

What meaningful experiences from your life would you like to share with people? I answered this question by writing accounts of several events that were particularly memorable to me. It started with a few short stories that I wanted to share with my nieces and nephew, but during 2023 the manuscript continued to grow. The result was “Waypoints”, a self-published pdf book with twenty two topical chapters describing events ranging from when I was five years old through my retirement from the Smithsonian Institution, illustrated with dozens of embedded photographs. Hopefully some of these stories may inspire you to write down your own significant experiences to share with friends and relatives, and perhaps with the world.
