The chapter focuses on the way that the Lambrakis' youth movement in Greece, in the 1960s, commemorated the anniversary of the national revolution of 1821 and scrutinizes the way in which, through this commemoration, the history culture and the memory culture of the Greek 1960s changed in order to facilitate the possibilities for the emerging of an alternative future.
