Использование журнальных метрик в процессе финансовой поддержки публикационной активности ученых университета

The study presents the advantages of using the quartile of a journal for solution the problem of effective financial support of publication activity of university scientists. The article deals with preliminary results of implementing the practice of giving a bonus to scientists of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine) for research articles published in journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection databases taking into account the quartile of a journal.
