The consistency of predicted R₁, R₁-2 and D-1 in WD40 blades of Met30p and MDV1p with the mutagenesis studies.

The blue-colored residues are in the predicted DHSW tetrad. The green-colored residues are in the predicted WD_b–a and WD_c–d bulges. The red-colored residues were studied by the mutagenesis. The last WD40 blade is composed of strand d at the beginning of WD40 domain and the last strand a, b and c.
