The Prox1-Cre-tdTomato mouse facilitates FACS sorting of LECs.

The tdTomato+ population contained 60% of CD45- CD31+ podoplanin+ LEC and 40% of CD45- CD31- cells. The sorting of tdTomato+ CD31+ cells allowed the isolation of a pure LEC population. Data are representative of 4 transgenic animals analyzed from 2 independent litters.
