Macrophages were pre-treated with NAC (15 mmol/L) or soyasaponin (A1, A2 or I) for 30 min, and then stimulated with LPS (1 µg/mL) for 16 h as noted, followed by measurements of SOD activity (A) and GSH/GSSG ratio (B). Results are presented as means ± SD of 3 independent experiments. *: P<0.05 vs. control. #: P<0.05 vs. LPS alone.
