(A) In vitro toxicity studies with LLC-PK1 cells showed no significant changes in cell viability even at 20 mM STS for a period of 24 hrs in serum and pyruvate free DMEM media. (B) STS is decreasing in the supernatant of LLC-PK1 cells as detected by HPLC (HepG2 used as positive control and blank wells as negative control).
