OrtizFigure 1 illustrates the survival rates (1A) and the rejection free time (1B) for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF; n = 79) or silicosis (n = 11) following lung transplantation. Survival curves were computed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Differences in survival according to primary diagnosis were assessed using the logrank test and the Cox proportional hazards model as described in the text.
