a<p><i>V. albo-atrum</i> is more closely related to <i>V. tricorpus</i> than to <i>V. dahliae</i>, whereas <i>V. alfalfae</i> and <i>V. nonalfalfae</i> are closely related to <i>V. dahliae</i> (<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0028341#pone-0028341-g001" target="_blank">Figure 1</a>).</p>b<p><i>V. zaregamsianum</i> was referred to as <i>V. tricorpus</i> at least once <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0028341#pone.0028341-Usami2" target="_blank">[73]</a>, but differs morphologically.</p>
