Comparison of the [Ca2+]i between 16HBE14o- and CFBE41o- cells.

The 340/380 nm ratio was calculated and compared between the two cell types at increasing times of Tg treatment. Whereas no significant difference was observed between the two cell types in the absence of Tg (0 time point), [Ca2+]i was increased in 16HBE14o- and CFBE41o- cells after 24 hours treatment. A significant lower [Ca2+]i was observed in the F508del-CFTR expressing cells. Bars represent SEM (n = 9).
