Hazard ratios were adjusted for sex, smoking status, physical activity level, education level, intake of energy, protein, carbohydrates, saturated fatty acids, mono-unsaturated fatty acids, poly-unsaturated fatty acids, alcohol, fiber, coffee, juices, soft-drinks, milk, and body mass index.
