A set of slides sent to the US Energy Information Administration. I wanted to know if they might be interested in what international distributions of production, consumption, and emissions related to oil, coal, and natural gas looked like (across time) when compared to the average of all possible distributions based solely on 1.) the total among countries and 2.) the number of counties.

These analyses were conducted in late 2012 and are exploratory, but I thought they were fun and might give someone else ideas.

The code for rerunning them is available at https://github.com/klocey/partitions and https://github.com/weecology/feasiblesets. Data is available at www.eia.gov and I'm getting ready to post it.
