Use of Persuasive Techniques in Presenting Ethnic Identities in the Bulgarian and the British Press

Analysing a corpus of articles published in national and nationalistic newspapers in Bulgaria and the UK, this paper looks, from a comparative perspective, at the linguistic techniques for the development and presentation of the identities of ethnic groups other than white Bulgarians in Bulgaria and white British in the UK.
