Trans-Atlantic Mormon Missionary Techniques: 1830 - 1869

This thesis studies Mormon missionary techniques in America and Britain from 1830 to 1869. A number of these techniques have been previously been left unrecognised or undervalued for their role in attracting converts. It concludes that while the Church was founded in America, the strategies developed in Britain were more influential.
