The global distribution of dengue as determined by evidence-based consensus
This kmz file displays the global national and sub-national distribution of dengue as determined by evidence-based consensus. Evidence-based consensus is a method that assess a wide range of disease surveillance information and quantifies its accuracy and contemporariness to derive an overall certainty metric of dengue presence or absence. The map is colour coded from dark red (high certainty of dengue presence) to yellow (uncertain on dengue status) to dark green (high certainty of dengue absence).
The file is compatible with Google Earth mapping applications where the individual evidence-consensus values are obtainable. Please refer to the referenced manuscript for a full description of each piece of evidence for each national or subnational area.
