The first locality of Geastrum triplex Jungh. (Geastraceae) in the Eastern Sudetes [in Polish with English summary]

The paper presents a new locality of Geastrum triplex from the Krowiarki mountain range.This is the first record of this species in the Eastern and Central Sudetes. The species was found in the thermophilous beech forest near Romanowo. Its conservation status is discussed, with the conclusion that it is an indicator species for deciduous forests in good condition and, as a member of the genus with most species being rare and endangered, should be strictly protected.
