Weiss, Serap AksoyTranscriptome sequences not mapping to the Glossina or bacterial genomes were assembled into contigs by de novo assembly using the CLC Genomic Workbench software. Assembled contigs were tested for homology to viral sequences by analysis using the BLAST software suite against the NCBI viral genomic database. Contigs listed are sequences with significant similarity to viral sequences within the database.
