Map of the Lesser Antilles with all modern Anolis species (in italic) included in our study next to their bank of origin. The isobath line (-100m) is indicated around each bank and show the morphology of the area during Pleistocene. A detailed view of Marie-Galant Island also shows the location of the three investigated fossil deposits containing Anolis ferreus remains.
