Simulations of transmembrane peptide dimers in lipid membranes

Peptides based on the dimerization motif of Glycophorin A with different transmembrane domain lengths simulated in lipid bilayers with different hydrophobic thicknesses.

Peptides are colored as follows: blue 17L (GRPNLKLLLGVLLGVLLTLLLLEYP), red 23L (GRPNLKLLLLLLGVLLGVLLTLLLLLLLEYP), and green 29L (GRPNLKLLLLLLLLLGVLLGVLLTLLLLLLLLLLEYP).
The monomers in the 17L/29L heterodimer are colored accordingly.

Lipid head groups are colored as follows: red DEPC (1,2-dierucoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, di-22:1-PC), yellow DOPC (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, di-18:1-PC), and blue DLPC (1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, di-12:0-PC).
