Sample size effects on the assessment of eukaryotic diversity and community structure in aquatic sediments using high-throughput sequencing

Data is 18S rRNA amplicons generated on an Illumina HiSeq (250-PE rapid run).

This is a methodological experiment where marine sediments have been subsampled using increasingly larger volumes of sediment from cores samples.
