Petal epidermal cells of Saltugilia splendens subsp. splendens grown in the greenhouse from seeds obtained from Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Garden. Flower material fixed in glutaraldehyde, followed by staining with aniline blue. Imaged on a Zeiss confocal microscope. Published in Frontiers in Plant Sciences in 2016, doi:10.3389/fpls.2015.01144
