Reef Health Monitoring (RHM) is one of the managers' efforts to ensure conservation activities have a positive impact on the coral reef ecosystem. The research team comprised of WWF-Indonesia, Pattimura University, Diponegoro University, Hasanuddin University and Wanu Atalo Customary Institution (LEAWANA), conducted reef health monitoring for a duration of two weeks (9-22 April 2018) in an expedition called #XPDCKOON in Koon MPA, Sunda Banda Seascape, Indonesia. This year's survey activity became the second monitoring survey (T1) after a previous similar activity (T0) was carried out in 2016. The team collected benthic community data and reef fish data to determine the status and trends in coral and fish conditions both inside and outside the Koon MPA area.
