NEON Teaching Data: Hyperspectral tutorial series example RGB image stack

This file is an example dataset from the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Aerial Observation Platform (AOP) hyperspectral imaging spectrometer. In particular, this is a three-band image stack saved as a TIF. The three bands saved here are from the blue, green, and red wavelengths of the AOP imaging spectrometer data. This image may be easily displayed as a nearly-'true color' image in open-source and commercially-available imagery and geoinformation (GIS) software.

This stack is derived from a single 1km^2 National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Airborne Observation Platform (AOP) hyperspectral imaging spectrometer data from the San Joaquin Experimental Range in California, USA (“NEON_D17_SJER_DP3_257000_4112000_reflectance.h5” from March 2019).
