Introduction on transcription factor 21, TCF21, and serum response factor, SRF, their molecular mechanisms of interaction, short range chromatin looping of TCF21 and long range TCF21 looping interaction regulating SRF gene. Genomic co-occupancy of TCF21 and SRF in 6524 human coronary artery smooth muscle cell specific open chromatin regions, defined by analyzing 125 ENCODE cell lines with ATAC-Seq in human coronary artery smooth muscle cells.
