A short movie clip of video animation showing the
fluctuating microvilli on the surface of a starfish oocyte (Astropecten aranciacus). Following microinjection with PH-GFP, a serial of 10 sequential images were taken by confocal microscopy (47 sec intervals) and composited in MetaMorph.
