HamoenB. subtilis strain HM771 (dnaN-gfp, reporter for impaired replication), strain UG-10 (recA-gfp, reporter for DNA damage), strain 1048 (rpoC-gfp, reporter for impaired RNA synthesis), and strain 1049 (rpsB-gfp, reporter for impaired protein synthesis) were grown until an OD600 of 0.3 and subsequently treated with 1x MIC of rhodomyrtone. Scale bar 2 μm.
