This is a digital movie of living individual of the tanaidacean crustacean Carpoapseudes spinigena Bamber, 2007 (Apseudoidea: Apseudidae). The individual was found on the surface of the bottom sediment in one core from the multiple corer, which was carried out in the southeastern Bering Sea at the depth of 1536 m during the research cruise of the R/V Mirai. The movie was taken from the outside of the cylindrical core. The tanaidacean was remaining at the entrance to a burrow, with the posterior part of the body in the burrow.

The photo of this individual was presented in Kakui, Nomaki, Komatsu, and Fujiwara (accepted: Biological Journal of the Linnean Society: fig. 2G).
