How caged salmon respond to waves depends on time of day and currents

The files contain the following:
current1.csv: timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS) and current speed (m/s). These data are from the ADCP south of the cage and are the current speed data only for the entire water column.
T1/T2_export_v3_40db.csv: These are the processed echo sounder data. The raw data were imported into echoview, the surface was found and cells were defined for every 10 minutes and 20cm. PRC_NASC was calculated based on these cells and the exported file contains the data between the surface line and a predetermined maximum depth. The most important columns are the maximum depth (per cell) and PRC_NASC columns used in data analysis and the date and time columns (one column per date/time segment).
videos.csv: A collated file of the data extracted from video files. Columns are date, time, shoal (binary factor indicating whether the fish measured for swimming effort were shoaling or not), direction (a binary factor indicating whether fish were swimming counter- or clockwise. NAs indicate that there was no shoaling, so a swimming direction could not be determined), manyin4 (binary indicator of whether there were many fish seen in camera 4, which was on the bottom looking up), manyin3 (binary indicator of whether there were many fish seen in camera 3, which was attached to the side of the cage and looking inwards), 10plusin1 (an unused binary indicator of whether there were more than 10 fish in camera 1, which was attached to the side of the cage near the surface and looking in), 3tailbeats (how long, in seconds, salmon took to beat their tail three times), upstream (whether the fish used in 3tailbeats were maintaining position against the current or moving), wind (wind speed), dir (wind direction), tbps (tail beats per second), wave (wave size classification).
waves.csv: The wave parameters from the ADCP south of the cage. The columns used for analysis are date and time, Hs and Tp.
glyvursnes.csv: wind data from a representative (for the Faroe Islands as a whole, not the particular site) weather station. Columns are datetime, wind (m/s), gust (m/s) and wind direction

In addition to the data files, a sample of video files and some images extracted from those videos have also been uploaded. The remaining videos are available upon request.
