Poster presented at SIAM CSE17 PP108 Minisymposterium: Software Productivity and Sustainability for CSE and Data Science. This poster describes FEniCS-HPC is a high level problem solving environment for automated solution of partial differential equations with the finite element method. The complexity is managed by code generation from near mathematical notation, and the algorithms and software are fully distributed and optimized for supercomputing architectures, with observed near optimal performance for tens of thousands of processing elements. FEniCS-HPC is used in a range of applications, ranging from renewable energy to clinical medicine.
