Chromosome 1 is approximately 4Mbp and encodes 3,724 genes while chromosome 2 is approximately 3.1 Mbp and encodes 2,538 genes for a total of 6,262 genes. Complete genomic profile was organized into COG (clusters of orthologous groups) categories and distribution plotted as a percentage of the total coding capacity 6,262 genes (C).
