Ostrzyca Proboszczowicka hill is situated on Sudety Foreland, about 40 km South-West of Legnica. A beautiful countryside of this hill and neigbouring areas are characterized by a varied and very interesting flora.

The paper includes results of phytosociological investigations carried out in the area of Ostrzyca Proboszczowica Hill (Pogórze Izerskie Foothill). The following plant communities were described:
1. Asplenietum septentrionalis Schwickerath 1944; 2. Batramio-Cystopteridetum Stocker 1962; 3. Hypno-Polypodietum Jurko et Peciar 1963; 4.  Lolio-Plantaginetum (Lincola 1921) Beger 1930; 5. Prunello-Plantaginetum Falinski 1936; 6. Chelidonio-Alliarietum Gors. et Mull. 1969; 7. Torilidetum japonicae Lohm. ap. Oberd. 1967; 8. Senecio fuchsi-Impatientetum Tx. 1975; 9. Diantho-Armerietum Krausch 1959; 10. Community of the aliance Arrhenatherion elatioris Koch 1926; 11. Community with Festuca cinerea and Vincetoxicum hirundinaria of the alliance Alysso-Festucetum duriusculae Moravec 1967; 12. Trifolio- Melampyretum nemorosi (Pass. 1967) Drske 1973; 13. Vicietum sylvaticae-dumetorum Oberd. et Müll. 1961; 14. Sedo-Peucedanetum oreoselini Brzeg (1981) 1988; 15. Shrub community of the alliance Berberidion Br.-Bl. 1950; 16. Galio (sylvatici)-Carpinetum Oberd. 1957; 17. Aceri-Tilietum Faber 1936.

As a result of the floristic investigation 284 species of higher plants have been found. Some of them (Asplenium septentrionale, Vicia pisiformis, Silene nutans ssp. glabra and Melica uniflora) are rare in Poland. Within the flora of the area also some common species are preserved too: Convallaria maialis, Hedera helix, Dactylorhiza maialis, Cephalanthera damasonium, Lilium martagon and Daphne mezereum. Relatively rich vascular flora of the area has a lowland appearance. Mountain-flora is represented by a small group of species: Fagus sylvatica, Acer pseudoplatanus, Sambucus racemosa, Cotoneaster integerrimus, Prenanthes purpurea, Polystichum aculeatum, Senecio nemorensis ssp. fuchsi.

Hieracium pallidum occurence (mentioned in the tekst) is unfortunatelly not confirmed.
