SacksNuclear aspect ratio (NAR) measurements of valve interstitial cells in the fibrosa layer of the mitral valve anterior leaflet in ovine and porcine samples. Mitral valve interstitial cell (MVIC) deformation in porcine leaflets is comparable to that of cells in ovine leaflets. Measurements were made for 10 cells per valve in n = 3 valves per group (porcine and ovine). Data is presented as mean ± SEM.
