Fair Shares: A Civil Society Equity Review of INDCs

This equity review of INDCs was undertaken by a very broad and diverse coalition of civil society organizations, social movements and NGOs to assess the ambition and fairness of the climate action pledges (INDCs) put forward by countries in the lead-up to the 2015 Paris Climate Summit (UNFCCC COP21). It was the first such assessment that considered the ambition of individual countries pledges and assessed them relative to benchmarks that correspond to countries' fair shares of the global mitigation effort.
