Data used in the study titled "Possible link between photosynthesis and leaf modulus of elasticity among vascular plants: a new player in leaf traits relationships?" (Nadal et al. 2018 - Ecology Letters). First two sheets display gas exchange and pressure-volume curves-derived parameters (water relations) from previously published studies. The third sheet displays the same parameters (adding others regarding bulk leaf structure and photosynthesis limitations) in the same set of measured plants (grown outdoors at the experimental field of Universitat de les Illes Balears, Spain).
