This file describes the supporting information datasets and codes associated to the publication "The impact of rising CO2 and acclimation on the response of US forests to global warming" by John S. Sperry, Martin D. Venturas, Henry N. Todd, Anna T. Trugman, William R.L. Anderegg, Yujie Wang, and Xiaonan Tai.

The README.txt file describes the contents of the four compressed folders:

(1) Dataset S6: "Weather_Data.zip". This folder contains the weather data used for running the forest response simulations and the file "README_Weather_Data.txt" that fully describes the datasets and structure of the CSV files.

(2) Dataset S7: "Output_Data.zip". This folder contains the main outputs of the Gain-Risk model that comprise the main
results and findings of the study. This folder contains the file "README_Output_Data.txt" that explains in detail the structure and content of the CSV files.

(3) Code S1: "SperryModelCPP_0.23.zip". This folder contains the code of the Gain-Risk model used in the study. The folder also contains the file "readme_model.txt", with details on how to run the model and on the additional files contained in the folder.

(4) Code S2: "Acclimation_Tools.zip". This folder contains two Excel spreadsheets with the Visual Basic Application (VBA) code used to run the acclimation routines. The file "readme-acclim.txt" describes in detail how to use the files.
